Tommy Nelms - Benchmark Mortgage

Tommy Nelms, a Sr. Branch Manager with Benchmark Mortgage, has been a mortgage loan consultant since 1995. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Finance. From 1995-2005 he worked with Advantage Mortgage Network as an originator and quickly became the top producing loan officer for his company and was consistently in the Top 25 of all originators in Austin.

In 2007, Tommy saw an opportunity to form his own branch with David McMillan, opening as business partners in February 2008. Since then, Tommy has dedicated himself to helping other loan officers reach their potential through mentoring, coaching, accountability, and recruiting top talent. He is passionate about educating homeowners to make the best financial decisions based on their needs.
