太阳集团2007(有限公司) was established in 2020, evolving from the former School of Information Engineering and the School of Management Engineering. It is positioned as a dynamic institution focused on cultivating application-oriented and innovative talents, primarily serving Chongqing, western China, and the entire nation. The college adopts a collaborative industry-education approach, fostering a joint school-enterprise elite talent development system.

The college comprises five full-time undergraduate programs: Land Resource Management, Property Management, Engineering Management, Urban Management, and Health Service and Management. Land Resource Management is recognized as a municipal first-class program, while Property Management holds the status of a school-level first-class program. Since September 2020, all programs have been open to junior college graduates seeking to upgrade to bachelor's degrees, under the university's enrollment arrangements.

The college houses several research platforms, including the Chongqing Land Use and Remote Sensing Engineering Technology Research Sub-Center, the Comprehensive Land and Real Estate Information Training Room, and the Land Surveying Training Room, both Chongqing Finance and Economics Practice Centers. The college is also a council member of the Chongqing Property Management Association and a standing director unit of the Chongqing Geographical Society.
