Forward Community Investments

Forward Community Investments (FCI) is a Wisconsin-based Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) committed to providing flexible financial support to mission-driven projects that promote greater social and economic opportunity across Wisconsin. FCI was founded in 1994 and has since deployed over $287 million in capital throughout the state.

FCI focuses on supporting community organizations, real estate entrepreneurs, and small businesses. They offer unique loan products designed to ignite the future of mission-driven organizations and developers. FCI distinguishes itself by supporting projects led by people of color and women who face barriers when developing real estate projects.

FCI is an investor, connector, and advisor for organizations and initiatives that reduce social, racial, and economic disparities in Wisconsin communities. They envision an equitable and inclusive Wisconsin built on cooperative social action. FCI also provides technical assistance throughout the entire process from proposal to post loan support.
