Hudson County Clerks Office

The Hudson County Clerk's Office, led by E. Junior Maldonado, is responsible for managing elections, passports, and public records/archives in Hudson County, New Jersey. Maldonado was re-elected as Hudson County Clerk in November 2022 and is the first County Clerk in New Jersey State history to be of Puerto Rican descent.

Prior to being elected Clerk, Maldonado served as District Four Hudson County Freeholder, where he chaired several committees related to tourism, economic development, and personnel. He also served on committees focused on public safety, county government oversight, family services, and finance.

The office provides various services to Hudson County residents, including business registration, passport services, notary services, and election-related information. The office also maintains a presence on social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube to share news, community events, and other important information.
