Jordan graduated from Grinnell College with degrees in Chinese and Anthropology and later taught English in Nanjing. He transitioned to the mortgage industry after a successful career in the culinary arts, driven by a desire to help families achieve the American dream.

As the 2021 President of the Portland Asian Real Estate Association of America chapter, Jordan advocates for sustainable homeownership opportunities for the Asian American and Pacific Islander community. He also contributed to the development of a 40-unit affordable housing project, ‘Voyager’s Village,’ which includes a community center for the Micronesian Islander community.
