Matadors Community Credit Union

Matadors Community Credit Union was established in 1963 to serve the professors, staff, and alumni of California State University, Northridge (CSUN). Originating as a safe place for the CSUN community to save and borrow money, the credit union incorporated the university's Matador mascot into its name.

Today, Matadors Community Credit Union has evolved into a community credit union offering a wide array of financial services. Beyond serving CSUN, they extend their services to the wider community, providing innovative banking products such as Auto Loans with extended terms, GoGreen Home Energy and Solar Loans, and Home Equity Lines of Credit. They are also part of the CO-OP network, granting members access to thousands of branches and surcharge-free ATMs nationwide.

Known for exceptional member service, Matadors Community Credit Union also provides free educational webinars, member discounts, and auto buying services. They actively support community organizations, including the CSUN Arts Council and the Child Care Resource Center, reaffirming their commitment to community welfare.
