Mortgage Bankers Association-Alabama

The Mortgage Bankers Association of Alabama (MBAAL), established in 1929, is one of the strongest mortgage banking associations in America, with over 85 member companies from throughout the state of Alabama and the southeast. The MBAAL is dedicated to education, networking, and legislative support, fostering valuable business relationships and professional growth among its members.

The association hosts an annual spring convention, considered one of the nation's top mortgage banking events. Members can earn CMB credits through seminars, social events, and monthly luncheons, covering topics such as sales skills, FHA and VA updates, and loan administration.

MBAAL's purpose includes encouraging sound and ethical business practices among its members, informing them of changes in laws and regulations affecting the mortgage banking business, and sponsoring discussions of mutual interest while educating those engaged in or affected by the mortgage banking industry.
