Regional Loan Corporation

Regional Loan Corporation (RLC) is a private non-profit organization established in 1978 with a mission to stimulate economic development and foster job creation within Louisiana. As a certified Small Business Development Company, RLC collaborates with various economic development organizations, government agencies, and financial institutions to provide non-conventional funding sources specifically tailored for small, female, and minority-owned businesses.

RLC primarily leverages the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) 504 program and Revolving Loan Fund grants from the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (EDA) and the Louisiana Department of Economic Development (LED). Through these programs, RLC offers significant advantages to businesses, including long-term fixed interest rates and low borrower equity requirements. They have successfully facilitated over $100 million in loans to more than 350 businesses across a diverse range of industries, from manufacturing and wholesale to hospitality, food service, and various forms of retail.

Focused on supporting the economic vitality of Louisiana, RLC is actively accepting applications from businesses in specific parishes including Assumption, Jefferson, Lafourche, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. James, St. John the Baptist, St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, Terrebonne, and Washington. Their commitment lies in partnering with local banks to nurture regional economic growth and provide essential capital to underserved business segments.
