The Institute

The Institute is a Community Economic Development organization focused on policy, small and diverse business support, finance, affordable housing, and neighborhood revitalization for low to moderate-wealth communities. Their mission is to strengthen the asset base of diverse populations through policy, education, and economic opportunities, with a vision of economic prosperity for diverse populations.

The Institute operates through several centers and affiliates, including the Center for Entrepreneurship, Institute Community Development Initiative (ICDI), Institute Capital (ICAP), and the Center for Strategic Partnerships. These centers provide education, training, financial resources, and consulting services to diverse businesses, community development corporations, and public agencies.
